And all the incredible hysteria, hedonistic behavior and of course the bucketload of cash and credit being spent on everything, everywhere, that it entails.
Today, I’ve decided to dedicate today’s newsletter to examining the truth of what’s happening in Australia. Because the truth is far more nuanced than you’d imagine.
How do you know when hype turns into a serious money-making opportunity? There have been a lot of previous trends that started out as pure hype, and even today, are still largely nothing but hype. Off the top of my head: hydrogen-powered motor vehicles.
Leaders in any walk of life, but particularly political leaders, rely on good advice. But when working for someone who is in power for life, advisors come to realise that telling them the truth – including bad news - is not the way to achieve career advancement. In fact, telling them what they don’t want to hear might even be hazardous to your health.
Always view events – even football – with your real estate cycle lenses. But here is where the movie screen asks viewers to put on their real estate cycle lens. Because it’s your knowledge of the real estate cycle that shows you the true motive at play here.
If you have read these newsletters for any length of time, you’ll be familiar with the fact the United States has led the world into and out of every 18.6-year Real Estate Cycle for over 200 years. As things currently stand, this pattern looks set to continue.
